PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENT EMPLOYEES

This privacy notice (“Notice”) describes the categories of personal information that Barnes & Noble Education, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Company”, “we”, “us” “our”) collects about employees who are California residents (“employees”). We are providing employees with this Notice as required under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), which became effective January 1, 2020. For purposes of this Notice, “personal information” has the meaning given in the CCPA, but excludes information exempted from the CCPA’s scope.
